We must keep comprehensive and accurate personal data about you to provide you with a high standard of appropriate customer care. We also need to process personal data about you to provide test certificates, Solar PV and EV charging paperwork.
The personal data that we hold includes:
- Personal details such as your name, address, telephone number, email address and bank details.
- Information about the services that we have provided or propose to provide and its cost.
- Notes of conversations we have had regarding services we provide.
- Records of consent for services.
- Correspondence with wholesalers we use for materials.

Retaining information
We will retain your personal data for at least seven years or longer if you remain a long standing customer.
Security of information
Personal data about you is held in the office computer system and in some cases achieved paper records. The information is not accessible to the public, only authorised members of staff have access to it. Staff are trained yearly in their legal responsibilities under the Data Protection Act and practical procedures for maintaining confidentiality.
We take precautions to keep the office premises, filing systems and computers physically secure. Our computer system has secure audit trails and we back-up information daily. We use cloud computing facilities for the storage and processing of some of your data. IWE Services Ltd has a rigorous service level agreement with Jennings Computers, our cloud provider to ensure that all our obligations in this policy are fulfilled and that your information is secure.
